1) Order Placed

Once you have successfully placed your order on line you will receive by email:

An order acknowledgement from sales@stonemenswear.co.uk detailing the items you have selected and your unique order number. A confirmation from either Braintree or Paypal (our payment service providers) advising that your card has been authorised successfully. This email will be issued if there is available credit on the card/account you have detailed for payment. If the payment details you have provided do not correspond to those your bank/card account hold on record we will send you an email asking you to telephone us. Until you contact us your order will not be despatched. If you do not contact us within 7 days your order will be cancelled without any further communication.


2) Security Checks

We may request further information or delivery to the card / account holders registered address if an alternaitve delivery address is been supplied that differs from the card/accounts registered details.

The registered address is that to which your card/account statements are sent.

Your bank or payment account owners (i.e. Paypal) will confirm to us whether the details you have provided correspond to those they hold on record. Even though your payment has been ‘authorised successfully’ by WorldPay / Paypal if you have not used the registered address for the card, your order may be subjected to further checks before despatched.

Once you place an order, the value of the order is ‘shadowed’ on your card/account. This means that this amount of credit has been reserved. Once your order has been despatched this payment will be taken. If your order is subsequently not despatched for any reason this shadow will self cancel after 10 days.


3) Order Despatch Guide (UK Mainland)

All orders placed and payment authorised before 3.30pm each weekday "Monday to Friday" (excludes weekends and bank holidays, see below) will normally be packaged as follows:-

Normal working week despatch days for "Free Next Working Day Delivery - UK Mainland Only" orders placed before 3.30pm are as follows:-

Saturday Delivery UK Mainland Only - Charged Service from £10.00

You can place your order at anytime in the week prior to your chosen following Saturday delivery however your order must be with us no later than the Friday at 3.30pm.

Delivery charges are as follows:-

DPD Saturday (Before Noon) £10.00

DPD Saturday (Before 10.30am) £16.00

The Service

DPD are our main courier and offer a very reliable service, as soon as we have prepared your order for despatch you will be notified by text message and/or email that your order is on its way to you, along with the tracking information.  On the day of delivery you should receive further communication with a one hour delivery slot from DPD.

On occasion we may despatch by Royal Mail next day (before 1pm) special delivery. Please note we do not deliver to PO Boxes.

We will also send you an email to confirm that your order has been despatched. If we have not been able to despatch all the items you have ordered this will be marked on the accompanying despatch note, also see payment below.

Bank Holidays, Public Holidays and Weekends

Please note that we do not despatch orders that are placed after 3.30pm on the previous working day to UK Bank Holidays, Public Holidays and Weekends until the next working day.

During busy sale events or periods such as end of season sales we cannot guarantee "Free Next Working Day Delivery - UK Mainland Only", however we do try our upmost to honour this free service.

Postcode Exclusions

The following postcodes are excluded from "Free Next Working Day Delivery - UK Mainland Only" along with "Saturday Delivery Services", our delivery aim for these postcodes is 2 working days:

3.1) European and International Orders

Orders as dispatch as per our guide above.  Where possible we use DPD (our couriers) for these services, once again you will receive email or text notification regarding your delivery.  If we need to use an alternative delivery service you will be provided with tracking details associated with the delivery provider.

4) Payment

Once your order has been despatched your card/account will be debited.

If we are not able to supply all the garments you ordered the value of any item not despatched will be refunded at the same time as payment is taken. Please note that it usually takes the banks and credit card companies at least 3 to 4 working days before any credit is visible in your card/account.


5) Order Delivery

Your order will be delivered by DPD our couriers for UK mainland orders and Royal Mail International Signed For or DPD for overseas. In isolated cases you may receive your order over separate deliveries.

We will require a customer signature for all parcels delivered. If there is no one available to sign for the parcel when the courier / postman attempts delivery, he will leave a card providing contact details to either help you to arrange to collect it from your local sorting office or arrange redelivery.

On receipt of your order, we will seek authorisation for payment from your credit / debit card.

Subject to payment being approved to us before 3.30pm your order will be processed and despatched (Monday to Friday) the same day. (excluced Bank Holidays, Public Holdiays and Weekends).

Next Day postage and packaging is free for all orders with a UK mainland delivery address (excludes Saturday deliveries), irrespective of the number of items ordered on that occasion. You will need to sign for your order on receipt.

International Delivery
Shipping Charges start at: £10 for Europe and £14 for US/Canada, you can get a quote for shipping for your delivery destination on the website once you have added a item to your shopping bakset.

No duty applies to goods shipped within the European Union. Outside the EU any duty and customs costs appropriate to your country are your responsibity.

We will despatch your goods by Royal Mail International Signed For service or DPD our Couriers once we have bank authorisation (which can take up to 72 hours). Delivery takes around 5 days from despatch for most EU countries, and around 8 days for North America. Please note Barbour and Paul Smith x Barbour are available for UK delivery only.

Please check for discrepancies with your order on delivery and notify us within 48 hours via our 'Contact us' page (include your order or invoice number), we cannot be held responsible for any discprepancies that are not reported to us during this time.


6) Pre-Ordered Items

On occasion we will offer items on a pre order basis, ie stock that we have ordered and confirmed with our suppliers that the quantities that we have ordered we will receive. If you purchase one of these items, they will be despatched to you on the day that we receive them via next day delivery guaranteed before 1pm. In the event that we do no receive our full consignment of stock from our suppliers, goods will be sent out on a first come first served basis. Unfulfilled orders will be refunded in full and our customers notified.


7) Discount Percentages

All percentage discount totals are rounded off to the nearest whole pound.


8) Discount / Promo / Incentive Codes

8.1 Discount codes or cards are issued as an incentive and are based on customer purchase history or other influences.
8.2 Discount codes or cards are only valid per purchase / sale, discounts cannot be added together in an attemp to further reduce the final cost of any transaction.
8.3 Discount codes or cards are only valid on non sale or non reduced items unless stated otherwise, any discount will be omitted from such items if attempted to be used.
8.4 The management reserve the right to remove discount codes or cards at there own discretion without prior notice.
